Student Membership
Perfect for undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a career in sport management. This charter membership offers access to networking events, industry insights, and hands-on experiences that help launch your path into the sports world.
Professional Membership
Designed for current sport industry professionals looking to connect, collaborate, and give back. Members gain access to a statewide network, speaking and mentorship opportunities, and the chance to shape the future of Tennessee’s sport management landscape.
Faculty Membership
Created for educators and academic leaders in sport management. This membership fosters collaboration across institutions, supports student development, and provides access to research sharing, professional events, and program partnerships.

Membership shall be open to all college students pursuing a sport management degree, faculty, and industry professionals who meet the following criteria.
Must reside in the state of Tennessee
Must be actively working or interested in working in the sport industry.

Exclusive partnership experiences
Leadership or speaking opportunities

Student membership dues are $25 per term, with an early bird rate of $15 if paid before September 15th.
Professional/organization membership dues are $100 per term, with an early bird rate of $75 if paid before September 15th.
Faculty membership dues are $50 per term, with an early bird rate of $35 if paid before September 15th.

Membership is open to all college students pursuing a sport management degree, faculty, and industry professionals who reside in Tennessee and are actively working or interested in working in the sport industry.

Members are expected to actively participate in quarterly events and meetings, contributing to the organization’s activities and goals.

If a member is terminated or withdraws, dues will not be refunded. Terminated members may no longer participate in the Sport Management Association of Tennessee or any related entities.

Regular meetings are held quarterly via Zoom or another online platform. An in-person, end-of-year meeting serves as a yearly review.
